I'd guess that Central Hardin, McCracken, West Jessamine were all near the top on every ballot, while Greenup received lots of first place votes but then weren't in the top 10 in a few ballots either. Just basing that on how math/polling works.

Understand your logical explanation, but cannot imagine them being left off anyone's ballot. State semifinalists in 2015, with entire team back. 23-0 this year and 55-4 since last year's 1-7 start with 8 losses last year against out of state teams. These guys are real deal! May not win it all, but will be in the running. Play Beechwood again today at 4:00. Don't know if BW has best pitching ready. Fiegler went 8 innings last night in 2-0 victory in round robin tournament at Greenup.

Just saw this thread is last weeks poll of 4/15. Just saw 4/22 poll and Greenup Co. moved up to #1. Beechwood has moved to #10.

Greenup will certainly claim the #1 spot after their convincing win over Beechwood and Central Hardin's loss to John Hardin.
