North Dakota has had it all their own way. With 8:12 left in the contest North Dakota has a,5-1 lead. North Dakota is the #3 , while Quinnipiac is the #1 .

The score was 2-1 going into the 3rd period. North Dakota broke it open with 3 goals in the first 11 minutes of the period.

 

This is North Dakota's 8th National Championship, the last one was in 2000. Only Michigan has more.

 

It was odd seeing Wisconsin' logo in the ice and on the boards, but they were the host institution for the event in Tampa.

 

Amalie Arena was full, holds 20,000 + for hockey. I looked at tickets for the championship game, last weekend. There were few left and the cheapest ones were over $100 a piece.
