I think that's 9. Boarman is a HUGE loss and Mills their SS, but with Blair and McKay back at LB and their DL back they should be fine on D in my opinion. I think Catholic's biggest Question is their QB, but that was their biggest question every year they graduate a QB. History says they should be fine at QB, but he is young.

1 senior graduated. I think it was the Center.

 

They return 4 OL and they do not play DL.

I personally thought OC was as good as anybody Mayfield played in the playoffs last year, they were really, really good. With all they have coming back they will most definately be a hard team to beat.

Having LCA and Hazard at home helps but still a toss up. Unless Beechwood lost a ton, that game you play for pride. Not saying it cant be won, but it'd be tough.

 

Rockcastle was close last year. At their place wont make it much easier.

 

They could very well be 8-2 or 5-5. It'll all be according to how much better line play is vs. last year and if they can replace Hatcher with someone who can beat you with the arm.

 

They'll be a dangerous team, especially in the playoffs.

Somerset should not get blowed out in any games this year. Somerset should be able to compete with Beechwood but can't be afraid or nervous against them. They will replace all offensive lineman and 3 best players from last years team. The defense returns 5 from last year but should be a strong point as I look for them to play and start 7 seniors on that defense.

 

Hazard and Somerset kind of remind me of a mirror image of one another. Somerset will have the experience with more upperclassmen but hazard will play a lot of sophomore and juniors with a few seniors they will have. I hope I am able to attend that game.

 

Somerset plays in probably the most competitive district in 2A and it will be an exciting year.
