Cooper scores 6 runs in the 2nd inning to get an early lead. Lloyd fights back, scoring 2 runs in the 3 rd and 4 th innings to make things exciting, Cooper scores 4 in the 6th inning with some timely hitting by first baseman Christina Luehrmann and Colleen Hume. Lloyd ads 1 run in the 5th. Very good game on a very nice Saturday. Cooper starts district play Tuesday at home against Boone County, travels to Holy Cross Thursday, and in the Carroll county tourney next weekend. Best of luck to Llyod the rest of the season.

Congrats on the win against the Nauts. Cooper is missing several really good baseball players that have played the game for years. I know you play with what you have, but what's going on with that program?

 

I have no ideal on the baseball side. We have more girls on the softball side than the program has ever had, and for the most part, we are still very young in quite a few positions.
