March 26, 201610 yr Looks like we could end the weekend with the possibility of strong to severe storms late Sunday afternoon into the nighttime hours. The main threat looks to be in the WKY area to about the I-65 corridor. As of now the main threats could be damaging winds, hail, and a possible tornado or two. I'll update later today or in the morning. The tornado threat looks to diminish as we progress through the night but the threat for strong to severe storms could continue as the line of storms progress towards the east. March 27, 201610 yr Author Sunday morning update: The area of most concert is concentrated west of I-65. This afternoon most of Kentucky could see some pop up showers or storms starting around noon edt but the main timing for the strong to severe storms look to be between 8-11 pm edt . Those west of the I-65 corridor could see the development of supercell storms that could contain damaging winds, isolated large hail. The threat for tornadoes is low but one or two can't be ruled out. These storms will decrease in intensity as the travel eastward through Kentucky. They should be in the I-75 area around between the 12-2 am edt time period. Those in the WKY area should stay weather aware later this afternoon. 8pm-midnight edt 8pm 11pm
