Highlands picks up the win on their first game of the season.

Raisor got the start for the Birds and Dahms for the Rebels.

 

Both starters were effective but not over bearing. Defense got both teams out of some bases loaded situations.

Rasior went four innings and Dahms 3. Pretty even game while the starters were in.

Birds brings in their # 3 in the rotation, Rom to work the last 3 to pick up the win. Boone worked three other pitchers, Ivasille, Schwartz, and Eickhoff.

Highlands JV picks up the win over BC JV 6-4. Both teams used numerous pitchers as this was the season opener for the Birds. Grady Cramer got the start and relieved by Ryan Adkins, Rob Gabbard and closed by Crosley New. Not sure who earned the win.

 

Sam Hennigan and Grady Cramer both with 2 rbi's and Rob Gabbard with 1 RBI. I believe the other run was walked in.

 

S/O to the outfield for making great defensive plays. Joe Steiden robbed deep fly ball in left field. Copper Schwalbach double play with F8 and gunning down runner at home plate. Rob Gabbard on great throw to 2nd to get advancing runner in the top of the 7 inning. Overall a very good team win!
