Final from Morehead. A low scoring defensive game West had already defeated Rowan twice during the regular season, but Rowan wins the one that counts. Looks like Rowan will be playing Boyd Co. who is up 31 points 48-17 at the half against Raceland.

Hey 16th, is Elliott County the favorite to win the region? Remember when I was in school at Morehead and watched the couple years the Faulkner twins and Knipp were there!!! They were so fun to watch!!! Thought they would have won it all too if Holmes wasn't loaded that year!!!

They have a good shot should make the finals will a good game both Boyd and Rowan are both playing well now that semi game should be a good one.

Whalen made the plays down the stretch in this one to to give Rowan the win.

He scored the Vikings last 8 points including 4-4 ft. He also had 2 steals and a block in the last minute or so.

Any idea why Woods didn't play?

Did not realize that Woods did not play that makes Rowan's win even more impressive.

The radio commentator said he had a pulled muscle and would not be playing in the game vs West Carter.
