Powell County High School

56th District Championship

Powell County defeated Estill County twice this season 46-43 and 43-36 but the Pirates have been cold as of late, winning 2 of their last 6 games....Estill County has won 4 of their last 5 including a 3 game win streak.

Pirates 8-7 at home....Engineers 3-9 on the road....

Do the Pirates contain home court or do the Engineers go in Stanton and repeat as district champs?

Something makes me think Estill just might prevail in the 3rd game between these two neighbors and rivals. Powell seems to be in a slump and Estill appears to be playing their best ball at the right time.
