Does anyone know if KHSAA has a rule that requires varsity rosters to be frozen? I'm asking for an 8th grader that was just asked to start practicing with varsity. But, I'm not aware of the roster rules.

You can have as many in practice as you want but postseason rosters are frozen at 15 players as of the first game of district.

Thank you!

You can have more than 15 on the roster but can only dress 15.

This is correct. Your rosters will be frozen as of midnight tonight, but can have more than 15 players. You can rotate those players as you wish, but no more than 15 shall be in uniform on the bench for the duration of the tournament.
