6th, 7th and 8th Region Tourney Outlook/Predictions

Featured Replies

The 6th will be impacted greatly by the results in the 24th district. For the past 2 years Mercy has won the district and Butler has drawn BE for a first round regional game. The 24th district is up for grabs and who ever draws the 24th runner up could be in for a early exit(Butler 2015). I will say Butler has to be the favorite based on how they have played, however they are not a lock. Its going to be a fun post season.

I am going to try to answer the Lindsey Duvall question about...How far along is she?

I can only go on what I personally seen Friday night. Even though she had 20 pts., and pulled the game out, she is not back to 100% from what I see. Her lateral movement and quickness is not quite there yet. Her driving to the bucket tenacity has a ways to go, plus getting back into playing shape...Now granted I am judging this compared to her peak self...I personally would not expect her to be at her best this season, but would an 80 - 90% Lindsey Duvall be enough to get East out of the region?

My highest respects go out to this young lady for getting back this soon!

If anyone other then Butler or Mercy won it I would be surprised.

I would give Bullitt East an outside chance with Duvall coming back. But lots of unknowns with her coming back so late in the year.

With Bullitt East going to #7 Franklin Co. and posting a double digit win, it may be time to give those Lady Chargers another hard look.
