I'm assuming Brad Denham will be back for his senior year. He finished 5th last year in a very tough 152 regional.

 

I'm hoping Brad will come out and wrestle hard. He's a good little wrestler, he always proved himself when we wrestled. Best of luck to everyone on the Dixie Heights wrestling team. I'm assuming they will still have the 'all-famous' Dixie Heights Invitational?!

Only Benson and Metzger made it to state in 2006. Metzger went two and out.

 

J Woods and B Denham both made it in 05 and 04 , but had very tough weight classes in 06 ! Both didn't like the feeling they had at state and should push alittle harder this year ! Metzger was a 185 , wrestling at 215 . He held tough on both his matchs , but giving up the weight , thats a little hard at state ! He really could be agood 189 weight , but you got a very good 189 weight on your own team , thats hard ! We'll see what happens this year !!!:thumb:

So do you think 160 will be the killer weight this year in NKY ? Or do you see another weight ? I think 189 could be a killer weight this year in NKY with Haught - SK , Benson - Dixie , Ryle 171 moving up ? ( Not sure of his name , I think he won state in 06 ) and I think CC 189 is back also .

Yeah that's about right. It's usually inacccurate too. They carry alot of the seniors who graduated the year before over to the new poll. So just be warned when you goto look at it. :thumb:

We got to meet the new coach tonight ! Yes he was at Ryle , Scott and I think CC in Ky . And several OH schools . I liked what I heard from him tonight , we have two other new asst. coaches also , 1 from Conner and 1 from Ryle I think . The only bad thing is Coach Moore is gone , I wish him well !:thumb: But new blood is good and I think the program is going in the right direction ! I think they had 27 out without football and 10 to 15 coming from them !!!!! :thumb: We just might have all the weights this year !!!:banana: Lets go Dixie ! Work ,work , work !!!:fire:
