The game tonight will be pretty close. Both teams know each other very well however both have different styles of play. Hoptown is all about pushing the tempo full court pressing the whole game. While Christian County at times can play the up tempo style of play when needed they rather slow the pace down and play a half court game running plays all night long. The only way hoptown wins if kourtney ware gets hot from 3 and puts on a shooting clinic but I do not see that happening. Christian County will win due to their big 3 Torrian Ware , Tyriq Edwards , and Jaylen Sebree. Nobody in region 2 can guard Tyriq Edwards 1 on 1 he's liable to put in 20+ tonight. Torrion Ware I see nobody on that roster can bang with this man-child he is as clutched as it gets from 3point land and is a tenacious rebounder who loves to play physical. And can't forget Mr. Smooth operator himself Jaylen Sebree can He also can stretch the floor or take you inside and get buckets he also sees the floor and is a good rim protector for this team. I think the score would be CCHS 78 - HHS 70

The way this season is going, I'd be shocked if Hoptown didn't win.:lol2:

I am picking Christian County to win, but I really think these teams are evenly matched. Like I said earlier, barring some kind of disaster these two teams are going to play each other 4 times this year, and only the last one counts.

 

Christian County's big question mark is they haven't played anybody in the top 20 in KY yet except Paducah Tilghman, they were in the top 20 at one time, and they almost lost that game. Hoptown has played the much more difficult schedule, but many of those teams were out of state teams.

 

I've seen both play, both are very good, Christian County seems to be more consistent, especially with Hoptown losing like they did to Owensboro Catholic.

If Hoptown plays like they did against Ensworth they will win. If they play like they did against Owensboro Catholic, they will get blown out.

Shorty cager will be all over Tyrik Edwars all night. That will be a matchup to watch. CJ Henegan will guard Sebree. The matchup problem for hoptown is who guards torrion Ware. I'm not sure about that one. Either way I'm saying Hopkinsville will be in the game until the final second. But as mentioned before it depends on which Hopkinsville team plays.

This will be the first of 4 times they play this season so do not make much out of the result as only the last one will be remembered. Will see how HHS does vs a team that is really coached well.
