HHS was winning with 2 minutes left in the third and Male went on about a 20-4 run and HHS went cold from the field. Male is big, long and fast. Really nice team.

If highlands could shoot they could have won this game or at least brought it down to the wire. I don't have the stats from the game but i would not be surprised if highlands FG% was

 

As far as male, they have great size and athleticism but lack in discipline. Many of their kids were in foul trouble early

That was not a typical shooting game for them. Adler shoots the 3 at over 40% typically and she got great looks and couldn't find the bottom last night. Just one of those nights. If you were to describe the looks she got to anyone in NKy, they would have said she probably had 30 points. Just a tough night for an unbelievable shooter. But I'll take her any day. And yes, they missed some darn layups! My daughter missed 3 wide open!!! We've already laughed about it so I can post it!

I agree that Male's quality depth had a factor in the game. But outside of a two minute stint, HHS played with them...even shooting as poorly as they did. HHS was winning the game with 2 minutes left in the third qtr and when HHS needed to sub out a couple ball handlers, all heck broke loose!
