Mason Blair for JC scored 40 points (16/26 shooting: 4/11 3FG: 6/7 FT). His second 40 point game in the last 3 games (Belfry: 43 points with 30 coming in the 1Q) and 9th 40 point game in school history. In the game Blair also recorded a career high 8 steals to go with 3 assists. Cole Crace also had a nice game for JC with 15 points, 5 assists, 4 rebounds, 1 steal.

 

For Henry County Gavin Jameson had 27 points 12 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 blocks, and 1 steal. Kid is a very nice player. Zack Hinkle (11) and Ethan Tuggle (15) were also in double figures for the Wildcats.

Just one of those years I suppose. Tonight was the first every meeting between Henry County and Johnson Central.

I think it is good for exposure of the athletes. Coaches in other regions may never get to see some of these players of they don't play some of these one day classics.

Very true. Personally I would have never seen the Jameson kid and he did not disappoint.
