He's named after his pops and his dad gave him the nickname of Baby J before he was born. It has stuck with him ever since. EVERYBODY calls him Baby J. Coaches, teachers, family, friends. He is Baby J. For forever.

Last year he dressed varsity as a freshman with two other freshmen but he was just a victory cigar last season. He and another sophomore, Bryce Slone, earned starting roles on the team this season and we are experiencing the ups and downs of young and inexperienced varsity players. Last night was one of the ups.

Very true. Baby J watched an old Jordan game on NBA TV and the first thing he said was that he had always heard that MJ was the greatest but he never realized just how good he was until he saw that game.

 

Westbrook is his favorite player though and with League Pass he sees him a whole lot.

When Robbins gets into form, and Cox, the way these Sophmore are progressing, with best big man in the region, Boyle County should not be judged until tourney time. Also Robbins can be a lock down defender he is stronger and so athletic. This team will be a force by the end. Plus I like them being under the radar. Also, Adams is notorious for for having way better teams in February than December, I believe 5 years ago he was in the finals of the region with a 15 -16 record. Go Rebels

The 45th District is tough this year just like it is most years. Danville is playing really good right now so I'll give you Danville. I don't even think Lincoln County folks feel too good about their chances in district right now. You should go watch Lincoln County play before assuming they are better than Boyle County or Garrard County right now. Both Boyle County and Garrard County are playing better than Lincoln County right now.
