We were talking at our table last night.......just curious as to how many........

If you were at the NKY HS Boys Soccer banquet last night.....sound off.

OTB was there.

I was present, and as you saw, I had a very good spot.

Fantastic evening, and a wonderful program. Quite nostalgic to see SO MANY players my son has had the privilege of playing with over the years between the many NKUnited/Kings/NKSA teams.

Equally impressive was the message that coaches and Famers relayed to the boys about the importance of education, and giving back. I hope that resonated.

Hard to believe a Hall of Fame existed without Coach Horton. Glad to see that rectified.

There was a banquet???

You missed it GP.......unlike the girls' Coaches, the NKY Boys' coaches are organized and recognize the All Region boys' teams and OPOY, DPOY, COY, and the other special award winners with plaques, dinner, nice cake, and all around good fun.

Because it is put together by the Boys side, the only thing missing was the center pieces........

Hopefully the Girl's side can organize and do something to recognize the recipients on that side........and reinstate Soccer-ama, for that matter.....

Sounds nice. Hopefully everyone enjoyed it and they got all the correct names on the trophies.

This made me chuckle. I heard there was one very bitter man that refused to clap for a player as he went to accept his misprinted award. Yet again great display of sportsmanship.

There was a banquet???

Too funny!!!

I tried to get in but was turned away at the door. You all would have been impressed with how I clean up at the all-you-can-eat banquets. There's gotta be some kind of award for that.

Talkin' at the table, OTB? Whose got time for talk?

In between seconds and thirds........on salad

What is this thing called salad?
