College Football Pick 10 Contest (Week #12 - RESULTS)

Featured Replies

The winner of the Week #12 contest is SLINK, who earned a score of 11. Yes, that's right...someone won this crapper of a week with a score of 11. No tiebreaker was necessary this week, since only 4 of you managed to notch double figures.

As always the contest is not final for 24 hrs. All contestants have 24 hours to report any errors. Once it is final, the winner should consult the contest thread to claim their prize: Contest Prizes - Sponsored by the SPORTS Shop.

* Well, I have to give props to my man SLINK. After 3 straight weeks of single-digit scores, USC's #1 fan pulls out the victory. Sure he only got 11 points, but that was enough to beat this motley crew.

* Just 3 other contestants: Jumper_Dad, GrantNKY, & Ibleedblue14 earned double figures in Week 12. For the latter of that trio, his score of 10 was important, as it pushed him past Big Slick for the Overall Season Standings lead--albeit by just 1 point.

* How can you not love our good friend Can'tcoach? If Week 12 was a children's story, the underdog would surprisingly do very well, leaving the others in the dust to claim a victory. But CC is no underdog. He's just under most everyone else in the standings. Again.

* One contestant Can'tcoach wasn't under was PurpleFivePointsHaHaPride92, who also managed a paltry 5 points. Not surprisingly, this is the second week PFPHHP92 has managed just 5 points (Week 4). Also not surprisingly, 5 is not PFPHHP92's lowest score of the season. If you'll remember, he totaled 3 points in Week 10.

* We're down to 1 week left. It seems to be a 2, ,maybe 3 horse race for the Overall Season Standings title. Best of luck to all of you in Week #13! :thumb:

Well Buffalo Chips and Pickle Juice!!!

I figured I'd blow it sooner or later.

When watching some of those scores roll in, I was thinking that I had achieved a perfect score and lost every one of them !

Randy Parker, you are so predictable. I knew I was in for your abuse after my pitiful score this week and after beating you in the pro contest last week.

Some days of the week are more suited for abusing you than others. Off the top of my head, I'm thinking the days that end with a "y."
