Cincinnati Wins AAC Women's Soccer Tournament Championship

Featured Replies

After #4 seed UC knocked off #1 seed, and 10th ranked, UConn in the semifinals, they upended the #2 seed, 25th ranked USF, in the finals winning a double overtime 1-1 game in Penalty Kicks 4-2.

UC gets the automatic bid to the NCAA tournament.

With an RPI of 50, it was doubtful they'd get in. UConn (RPI of 7), USF (RPI of 15), and probably UCF (RPI of 20) should join Cincinnati in the NCAAs.

Congrats to my neighbor two doors down Coach Stafford. UC is really an up and coming program in Women's Soccer.

With a little over 2 minutes left in regulation, UC #16 scored the tying goal on a blooper over the USF goalie when she came out too far. Strangest looking goal I've seen. I've yet to get used to how much slower the women's game is than that of the men.

Yes, I watched the match on on ESPN3 with one of my computers. I multitask and was watching the Dolphins and Bills, and programming on another computer.
