Johnson Central 41 Holmes 0

No surprises here. JC holds Holmes to 126 total yards while racking up just of 400. No Bryce Workman and no interior lineman played tonight for JC as they are both nursing injury. Geordan Blanton looked much better under center compared to last week. Big test next week for JC as Greenup brings a very good, confident, squad into Johnson County.

Hats off to District 8. They almost went 4-0 in the playoffs as Rowan County had a chance late.

Is Workman expected to be back next week or is the coaching staff hoping to be able to rest him one more week if possible?

Congrats to JC, as for game notes, the score says it all, the Dogs never quite playing, just not enough size or depth, JC has a lot of speed. Wish them the best as they make there run to a state title. I just wanted to comment on the stadium, I have been to many a stadium thru the years, this place is beautiful, nestled I the mountians, what a setting and what a nice production, the folks that sang my old Ky home did a great job, long drive from Northern Ky, would be nice to have came home with a win, but well worth the drive, best of luck to JC and what a nice stadium.

The kids from Holmes showed a lot of spirit and fight. I was surprised to see their numbers so low this year but they never quit fighting and playing. Good luck to the Bulldogs in the future.

Honest question. What is offensive scheme at Johnson? Run heavy, pass, speed, power. Trying to figure out my 4A predictions. Just curious. Thanks

Great question. He has been cleared if needed and I expect the coaching staff will make that determination during the week.

Run heavy. Lots of power.
