Game of the Week

Lexington Catholic (3A #6) vs Boyle County (3A #1), October 16, 7:30. Boyle County

The winner of this game has gone on to win the region in seven of the last 8 years. In the last 8 years no other team has won the region that included these two teams other than these teams. Boyle is hitting on all cylinders under the leadership of Mr. Football candidate Josiah Robbins. The Knights have been hit by the injury bug that has bitten their starting quarterback, star senior running back and a senior offensive lineman. No matter how this game looks on paper it usually plays closer than expected.

 

 

 

Also this week is Bryan Station at Scott County featuring two top 5 CKY teams.

I would have placed Creek at 10 instead of Central.

Tate's Creek and any other team in Lexington would crush Paris. They are undefeated yes but not deserving of a place. I've seen them in action.
