I can't believe that none of the CCH faithful have responded to my questions/comments in thread #11. I guess they have moved on from this game since they played against Summit Country Day tonight.

 

I haven't weighed in much on any of these player of the year conversations because quite frankly I don't really care but what questions do you so desperately need answers to? Should an own goal or a single play or even a single game be the deciding factor in consideration for one of these "awards"? Of course not. Is that what you are asking?

So, neither were on frame and the free kick was from distance. Was there a wall of defenders that the shots deflected off? And, if so how far out from goal was the wall? Just asking because why wasn't the keeper able to stop the ball from going in? Could have a negative impact on his consideration for one of the top 3 DPOY.

 

If there wasn't a wall and the deflections were off one or more of the prestigious CCH defenders that are having their names mentioned for DPOY, what does that say about them? I just bring this up because in another thread, there is mention of how many times a defender is able to win the ball in the air for consideration of DPOY.

 

Or, better yet does any of this need to be taken into consideration for DPOY as you you watch through your blue tinted CCH player glasses? :banana:

 

Are you serious, are you actually indicating or suggesting a player not be considered for an award based on one or two plays over the length of the season or one game? I've read some unbelievable things on here over the years but this may top the list.

I was just throwing that out there because there are some CCH supporters who have no problem with tooting the horn of CCH players and trying to discredit other teams players for a bad game. I haven't seen either one of you (GP or GPR) do that but others have. Now, all of a sudden their silent.

Not a wall.....and the kicks were from 30-40 yards out.......the headballs travelled backwards to the goal 5-10 yards after headed by own player....

I have not singled out any individual player for DPOY, good or bad. I've mentioned them as a whole. Did I mention any single player's name that had the OG? Was it even a defender? Was it a mistake? Would another player even have had the athletic ability to even get a head on the ball?

 

Please show me where I have "discredited others team's players" ....I've listed facts and given my opinions, usually supported by specific stats......I do not believe I have ever made blanket, non supported statements........if there are out there, please show me.....not my style.
