I don't think so... I believe Adkins is throwing tomorrow...

Gutsy performance by pitcher Kris Fields and the Cats. This makes it two years in a row PC has lost in the late innings of the first round of region, on a two-run homer. Murph Howard once again proves that his method of scheduling and coaching works, once his team gets to the postseason. This is a young team and a young region as a whole, and will continue to get better in the coming years.

What time/day are the semifinals and finals of the region?

Semis are tomorrow starting at 5 and the finals Wed.

Great game pitched by Fields against a good hitting BB.PC has got to get some hitting if they are going to progress next year.

A lot closer than expected. Didn't expect the game to come down to a 2 run homer in the botttom of the 6th. Congrats to PC for playing well and to Brossart for advancing.

Brossart only has 3 hits but got two unearned runs.That has been PC's trouble all year,unearned runs and lack of hitting.Maybe those young guys will come around in a couple of years.Good game though,Brossart was held in check for the first time in a couple of weeks.

I think pendleton only had two hits. One in the 1st (HR) and one in the 7th (dribbler in front of the mound). BB was hitting the ball hard but the wildcats made the plays they had to.

The only hard hit balls I saw in the game were the two home runs.

There were some hard hit balls by Brossart but it seemed like they were always right to a Pendleton County player...minus the homerun of course. Great job by the Mustangs, and best of luck the rest of the way.

 

For Pendleton County the future could be bright if they develop some hitting to go with what should be a pretty good defensive ball club. They have 7 starters returning but we all know how that can go.
