Wow what I saw was two teams one a 5A and one a 2A playing there guts out. I saw questionable calls on both sides. I saw two coaching staffs coaching there butts off. I saw good decisions and bad decisions by both staffs. In the end I saw 15 16 17 18 year olds deciding the game. I would suggest those that want to complain stop. Let the kids decide the game, which happened. Congrats to both teams for playing there guts out.

Yeah the 2 GC tds were called back b/c of an illegal block and a blatant holding call. And people keep posting about helmets ripped off and I only witnessed 1 helmet come off and that did not appear malicious at all.

The Refs were just as rough on the Juggs as they were on the Braves. Also, you were right, it was very clear that Lloyd was the dominant team today.

Badtimes, great post. Thank you for putting this in the proper frame of reference. No, I am not being sarcastic, sometimes us passionate fans get caught up in the game and get emotional, but the real truth is all of this is about the young men on the field and their respective coaches. Both teams played hard and will continue to do so this season.

Grant county showed tons of heart. They could have easily rolled over after all the penalties.

My only complaint is that the ball didn't break the goal line on last play. Obvisouly probably wouldn't of mattered because the next play would of just been someone falling into the end zone.

If you counted 4 helmets that came off I know for a fact 2 of them were Lloyd helmets that came off. The stands that I was in showed a pretty good view of the penalties that called GCs TDs back and they were legitimate calls (the only ones of the game). Which obviously the penalties were unfortunate for the Braves but it happens. Lloyd has film of the game to and so many calls were missed it wasn't even funny. BUT now your taking away from the great job that the kids did for GC. If the Braves would have pulled out a win, the Juggs coaches would have been voted MVP with #28 being a close second. That kid is an man-child! We all have said our piece about the refs and calls now we give credit to the kids and look towards next week. Good luck to the Braves.

I seen 1 lloyd helmet off. But we had 2 of our linemens helmets fly off. Our center twice and our DT twice. They each had to run off the feild for a play. The kids played a great game but there were so many missed holding calls on lloyd it was unbelievable. I've watched this game several times and a lot of the penalties were blatantly in front of the refs. Something was wrong.

I agree very poor officiating, an Grant county played the refs in this game , an still would not back down . the called back touchdowns that Grant had on punt return an the half back pass back was ridiculous an the late hits by Lloyd that were obvious, they were not called. But can't beat the refs
