Why was it stopped?

Weather or West decided they could not compete?

I would have to assume that this was a result of the band of weather that came through on Friday night.

 

With the majority of 3 quarters played, and North Laurel being pretty decidedly the winning team, the idea of rescheduling a time for two teams separated by a 1 hour and 20 minute drive just to play 1 quarter worth of a non-district game that was pretty much decided already seems a bit unreasonable.
