Dunbar had already beaten them once this year and they aren't exactly chopped liver. The shutout surprises me more than the win.

I wouldnt really consider this a big upset. 3 or 4 teams in that district could beat ANYONE in the state on any given night.

A balanced District, which on any given night and with the right pitcher, anything can happen.

LCA didn't seem to have the "fire in the belly" last night.

 

The post quoted is correct, and at this level of play the winner will be the one who wants it more. Dunbar was that team.

 

Their whole dugout was alive the whole game.
