How many players are normally selected for the All Tournament Team?

Not even sure they still pick All Tournament Teams. Many times its a joke anyway.

Coaches and/or tourney officials decide beforehand whether they want an all-tourney team (it does seem like more and more districts are going away from that), then can decide on any number they choose.

 

I agree that all-tourney teams are mostly useless, especially in small tournaments. Coaches tend to think a lot less of them than fans, and I can see why.

If there is a all tournament team, there most always is nine team member selected. Except at the 45th distric tournament this year. Garrard Co. was the host school and I guess they decided to limit it to seven players. I hear seven man baseball is getting pretty popular.:irked:
