Real Time Traffic Accident Statistics

Someone put a lot of work into this site and I like the real-time nature of it.. One thing is for sure, we lose way way too many people to traffic accidents. Something else that stands out is depending on the country you can be much more or less likely to die or be injured in an accident.

I've found it ironic that the message/billboard signs that are on the highway (that most of the time post accident/road info) have had a two-page message up. On one of the pages, it states how many deaths have occurred due to auto accidents this year, and the percentage that it's up over last year. Then the second page says something like "Focus on driving". :ohbrother:

This is really creepy. More than 1 in every 100 people you know in the US will die in a traffic accident according to that.
