Lawnboy13
Watched the last 5 innings of this one, and wow, feel bad for Chad and his team. Congrats to Head Coach Chad Moran and his Beverly Bandits, as they are PGF 16U National Runners-Up. Chad is the father of former Covington Holy Cross and current James Madison softballer Maddie Moran. The Bandits lost their 1st game of the tournament and won 10 straight to make it to the Championship game only to lose 1-0. They had runners on 2nd & 3rd with one-out in the bottom of the 7th, but couldn't get the tying and game winner in. Although they might have been able to get the tying run in when they had one-out and runner on 2nd, as a sinking liner dropped in center and the girl on 2nd held up. The team they lost to (Tampa Mustangs) also lost their 1st game of the tourney and won 11 straight to claim the title. Pretty impressive by both teams. :ylsuper: The Mustangs lone run came in on a "high hopper" over the 3rd basemen in the top of the 6th. Again, CONGRATS to Coach Moran and his team. :thumb: [video=youtube;4PJk-jYniXI]
