Email etiquette

How do you know your emails aren't getting stopped in a SPAM filter? Pick up the phone; reach out, reach out and touch someone!

Uuuhhhh...that takes WAY too much time. I will resort to that if I am short games and the season is getting ready to start, but usually doesn't come to that. I eventually get enough responses and the schedule gets full eventually and I quit having to send emails asking. But even at that point there are still several request emails that are never responded to.

And as was conversed above about read receipts...I don't like getting them myself, so I don't usually send an email with one.

As for spam, if my email is going into a spam filter then most everything they get would be. And that may happen to a handful, and definitely probably happens when I first send out one mass emailing to all the contacts. That's why I give them the benefit of the doubt if I don't get a response from my first email.
