A good win for the Cards as tourney time approaches. Rakestraw is quite a player for a freshman.

He is a good basketball player as well. I saw him play hoops in middle school when he was at North Laurel and was very impressed with him as a kid and as an athlete.

South Laurel has some great young talent in Rakestraw, Martin, and Woody. All 3 of these guys can flat out play. Martin and Woody are 2 great pitchers. When I watched them play last year Rakestraw didn't impress me much on the mound, but at the plate and in the field, he was on of the best I saw.

Nice Job. That is an excellent win.
