One of the new style churches in the NKY/Cincinnati area, Crossroads, just bought an old Catholic Church in Clifton(near UC campus). It is the Old Saint George Church that caught fire in 2008 and hasn't been used since. Crossroads is spending a total of about $12 million to rehab and use.

Are the books open to the public for religion finances? Are there income/expense sheets available? Just curious if everyone knows where their money goes when they donate or does it matter. Just curious. I've read that for a lot of non-profits, when you donate a $1, sometimes only a nickle or dime go to the cause.
