June 22, 201511 yr We look to have a cold front pass through the upper Ohio Valley on Tuesday. Thunderstorm activity maybe ongoing along or just ahead of the front. These storms are forecast to gradually intensify and with new cells forming during the late morning or early afternoon. Storms may get reorganized and fire up during the later afternoon and early evening. As of now it looks like most of the activity will be confined from I-64 northward. Louisville, Lexington, Cincinnati are some of the major cities in the slight risk area. The main threats look to be large hail and damaging winds. A tornado or two can't be ruled out. Also I'm watching the end of the week. That seems to be the best time to see a more organized and widespread severe weather event.
