May 26, 201511 yr Parts of Kentucky are in the slight risk area for possible severe storms for today. Western Kentucky and eastern Kentucky are in the marginal risk area. Those in the slight risk area may see strong to severe thunderstorms that should be scattered in nature. These storms could produce wind damage, hail up to 1" in diameter with isolated hail up to 2". A couple of tornadoes will also be possible. Supercell severe storms are also possible this afternoon. Some may see scattered thunderstorms throughout the day into the evening hours. The greatest threat for severe storms seems to be from early afternoon to around 7 pm EDT. Scattered thunderstorms are expected from Wednesday through Sunday. I'll be posting updates throughout the day whenever possible. Stay weather alert today.
