Who's the favorite in this one?

Anderson should win the 8th region. They have Owen the first game. From what I have seen of Owen County and have seen on here and talked to others. He doesn't play his best players. He is one of those coaches that no matter how good or bad you are your playing time depends on what grade you are in. Anderson shouldn't have any problems in the 12:00 game to advance to next round.

Anderson County is the favorite as the #5 team in the state. Collins and Oldham County are their two biggest threats. Anderson went 1-1 against both this season.

Oldham County/Grant County began around 10:50 this morning. All games will begin about an hour later than scheduled.

Collins switched pitchers and Henry tied it up at 7-7. Starter Carson Murray comes back in.

Shelbi Poehlein hits a 2 run homer to put Collins back on top 9-7.

A 2-run homer by Hannah Renfro puts Collins up 11-7 in the top of the 7th. The Lady Titans have hit 3 homeruns today.

The semifinals are set:

 

Oldham County (22-15) vs. Anderson County (28-8) - 8:30 PM

Collins (23-10) vs. North Oldham (20-12) - 6:30 PM

 

I'm sure these four teams will love driving an hour and a half one way to play each other.
