You sure Corbin is playing Clay County? Cov. Holy Cross seems to think they are playing Clay County in that Appalachian Bowl 9/4

 

Unless something has changed, Corbin and Clay Co. are listed on the KHSAA website as playing each other on that date.

Someone posted on the Holy Cross thread that the Holy Cross coach has confirmed the Clay County-Holy Cross matchup that week. Someone or some site is wrong.

Mixed bag schedule

 

Love the Mayfield and Southwestern games.

 

Knox Central is fine and schedule worthy.

 

Bell, as expected, is the only District Game to keep an eye on.

 

The Whitley County, Waggener, and (painful to say) Danville games though I am not sure will do much to prepare the Redhounds to compete against the top tier of 3A.

 

I heard that the Waggener game in the Cumberland Falls Pigskin Classic was kind of a package deal with Central, who will be playing Knox Central in the other game. Corbin and Central will then face each other in the 2016 Pigskin game.

When was the last time Corbin and Whitley County played?? Good to see these local rivals hook up.
