Who represents the Reds in the All-Star Game?

Featured Replies

One has to make it......lots of candidates......no real strong ones.

Cueto? Not as dominant as in the past two years.

Chapman? Not a lot of save opportunities.

Votto? Power outage so far in May.

Phillips? Nice batting average. Not a lot of RBIs.

Cozart? Might be the most deserving pick based on his position. (Can't believe I typed that.)

Frazier? Power stats, not a high batting average.

I'd say the manager will want to Chapman even if his numbers ain't the highest. Can always use a strikeout or 3 late in the game.

I think Todd Frazier is the captain for the HR Derby.

Cueto & Chapman should be there. Votto, Cozart & Frazier have a shot at the ASG (although I think it's more likely that Frazier is limited to HR Derby only).

BP has an outside chance.

My final answer: Frazier captains the HR Derby, Cueto & Chapman make the team.

I agree with you. At the end of April, I would have said Votto for sure, but that's fallen off big time. While Cozart is potentially deserving, I don't think he'd be added.
