'Survivor: Second Chances' Will Give Fans the Power to Bring Back Players

Featured Replies

I think the cast is good and there are several people who will come to play. I'm excited for it.

Seems I'm in the minority but I like returning players -- thought typically only once -- as it's interesting to see what they've learned and if they will adjust their games. Plus, the newness is out and it seems more people come to play.

Having said that, I want an all-winners season A LOT.

I would love an all winners season but with the caveat that it couldn't be people that won on the 2nd or 3rd try or winners that played a second time and lost. The only 2 time player that should be allowed is Sandra since she won both times she played. I may do a little research and see who that would allow to play. There may not be enough that fit that criteria.

UPDATE: Research indicates that currently only 17 people fit my criteria so we'll likely have to wait a while for it to come to fruition.

That eliminates Parvati. I strongly dislike this idea. :D

I know but there are 8 women who do qualify. Danni, Natalie White and Kim Spradlin could qualify for the eye candy needed.

Parvati is easy on the eyes but if it's an all-winners season I want the best playing. Parvati IMO is the 2nd best to play the game for sure. Hard to argue with Sandra's two titles even though I think her 2nd one should have been Parvati's.

I agree. The idea behind restricting them would be that it's all people that have never been voted out, not necessarily the best players. As it stands of the 17 that would fit that criteria I doubt strongly that they would bring Brian from Thailand back and Bob from Gabon is in his mid seventies now, Don't know that he could do it.

Early thoughts on the cast members:

Kelly Wigglesworth - I think she is at a pretty big disadvantage as EVERYONE knows her and everyone knows how close she came to winning. I can see people gunning for her. Plus, they game has changed a ton since she last played. But she was a gamer when she played. Contender

Jeff Varner - I don't remember much about him at all. Wish Jim Rice or Blackberry Shane would've taken this spot. Don't Remember

Kimmi Kappenberg - I don't remember much about her. Would've liked to see Carolyn here. Don't Remember

Andrew Savage - really glad he got in. He got screwed by the Outcasts twist. He was a gamer and I definitely think he is an early favorite. Contender

Terry Deitz - See Varner, Jeff. Don't Remember

Peih-Gee Law - I remember her being pretty good in endurance type challenges and I believe she fell victim to being on the wrong side of the numbers post-merge. Could definitely see her going far and possibly even winning. Contender

Stephen Fishbach - JT was so liked by everyone and I always thought he played better than the final vote showed. Strong player for sure. Just needs to find a way to own his game more. Contender

Monica Padilla - fell victim to Russell Hantz. But if I remember right she attempted to make a move. Contender.

Abi-Maria Gomes - she is cray cray but should provide for some humor. Pretender

Ciera Eastin - she voted off her Mom. She's on team formerkywrestler for life. She was a gamer for sure but made some mistakes. I think she can learn from them. A tad bit worried she will stick out as playing too hard based on the Mom vote. My heart says. Contender

Vytas Baskauskas - I remember liking him. But I'm struggling to remember what got him voted out. Don't remember.

Kass McQuillen - :lol2: :lol2: :lol2:. She sucks so bad socially. Pretender

Spencer Bledsoe - as time has passed I realize he isn't so bad at Survivor. Will be interesting to see if he has grown up some and isn't such a baby. Contender

Tasha Fox - she's a gamer. Glad to see her back. Contender

Woo Hwang - Woo is my boy. But i'm not sure he can win the game. Carolyn gave a great answer last night to Tyler about how you have to lie or you end up on the jury. Woo stuck to his core and cost himself $1M. I'm not ready to totally give up hope he can't win though. Contender

Jeremy Collins - he can play. Fell victim to a blindside. Be interesting to see if he becomes more paranoid. Contender

Keith Nale - overall I like Keith. He is social and can get people to like him but I'm just not sure he has the necessary social side to him where he can make the moves needed to win. It pains me to say it, but...Pretender

Kelley Wentworth - great to look at but I don't remember that much else about her. Don't remember

Joe Anglim - I like him and he plays a strong physical game. But he has to get more interested in strategy and alliances. Strong feeling he may just be Ozzy Redux. If he can get in the right position I think he can string off an immunity run like Mike and win it though. Contender

Shirin Oskooi - Monkey sex! She's entertaining and seems to be pretty intelligent, just spastic. But I'm just not seeing a way she can pull it all off but I've grown to like her. Pretender

Kim is someone I'd love to come back. Her win really flew under the radar in my mind. She absolutely dominated that season. Curious if she just got the right tribe or she is that good.

I'm pretty much in the same boat as @formerkywrestler with who I remember and who I don't. I remember Vytas had a nasty case of brother envy when he played in Blood vs. Water and in the same season Kelly Wentworth was eliminated for the sins of her father. He alienated a lot of people and she tried to stay loyal to him and it hurt her.

At the risk again of being a Survivor geek who follows it way to much on social media I just saw that Season 32 (which has already been filmed) is another Brains vs. Beauty vs, Brawn season.

That was a fun season last go around.

Nothing wrong with being a Survivor geek. I've never missed an episode, I just don't have the memory.

The first episode I watched was just before the merge in season 1. I haven't missed many since then.

I started watching on Season 2. What I've missed I've went back and caught up on. The only season I haven't saw all of is Nicaragua and since it got almost universal poor ratings I haven't made an effort to catch up.
