Beechwood 3 Campbell County 1

Featured Replies

Final at CCHS.

Don't know all the details game started at 4:30 so I only saw fourth inning on.

Cameron Edwards pitched complete game and pitched well in the innings I saw played. He gave up 5 hits.

#44 Stringer?(last years roster) started for Beechwood and got win pitching five innings, 1run, 2hits.

#14 Slusher pitched two innings of relief. No hits, no runs. Save.

Camels scored lone run on RBI single by Blake Losey. Camels other hit was double by Carson Plessinger, he advanced on sac fly and was left on base at third.

Good game by both teams.

Keep battling Camels!

First time to see Beechies this year. Rowe at 3rd was an impressive 2 for 3, with a solo shot to left and hard sinking single to left center. Well played game with Beechwood pitching holding Camels to two singles. Not sure of the pitchers names (announcer only called numbers); but, I think Stringer went 5 for the win and Slusher finished for the hold.

1st inning errors for the Camels hurt.

Campbell County's JV team beat Beechwood's JV team 10-4 following the varsity game. I was told this was Beechwood's first loss on the season.
