The Campbell County Camels had their way with the Brossart Mustangs on Saturday afternoon in Claryville, defeating their cross-town rivals 10-0 in six innings.

 

Billy Gebauer was the starter and loser for the Mustangs. Edwards went the distance for the Camels. He gave up only two hits in the game.

 

With the win the Camels secure the district top seed, and will leave it to Brossart and Scott to duke it out, with the winners challenging the Camels for the district title (assuming they defeat the Silver Grove - Calvary winner).

 

The Campbell County JVs were victorious in the prelim game, shutting out our guys something like 4-0. The freshmen were slated to play following the varsity game.

Freshman Camels won 4-0. Brossart had bases loaded in top of the 7th but Camels able to get out of the jam. Side note: Camel Frosh not going to win any prizes for best looking uniforms. But maybe it was "Throwback" jersey day. Looked like early 80s style.
