Buckhorn 15 Knott Central 5

Featured Replies

Corey Ritchie and Danny Rose pitched for the Patriots last night. Not really sure who pitched for Buckhorn, since I wasn't at the game.

KCC is in a slump. KCC players have a bug that is going around and hopefully it has run it's course. Another thing is injuries. Troy Smith hurt his leg a few weeks ago and is now getting back into stride. Evan Potter hurt his arm. Nothing major, just sore. He should be back into full swing by tournament time. And Brandon Smith broke his thumb during the Bryan Station Invitational this weekend. He could be out up to 4 weeks. Hopefully 3 weeks. But the doc does't want to rush it. And so he shouldn't.

Jeremy Hyden threw for Buckhorn and threw very well. Buckhorn hit the ball all night. This team seems to be playing better. They lost to Knott 17-4 last week and bounced back very good. Buckhorn was playing without their seniors.

I hate to hear about all of KCC's problems. Hopefully, they'll be 100% by tournament time. Sounds like Buckhorn played pretty well despite not having their best player Kevin Davidson and Matthew Bowling, who is their normal starter at 2nd base. Great win for Coach Davidson and company especially coming off of a couple of close losses to Clay Co. and Whitley Co.

I wasn't at the game, but I heard that Buckhorn played a very good game.
