Philadelphia police on Tuesday they are expected to add that count to a list of other charges against Nyia Parler, 41. She is accused of leaving her 21-year-old alone in a wooded area of Cobbs Creek. Her son has cerebral palsy, has to use a wheelchair and has no verbal communication skills. According to authorities, Parler left the young man on the ground with only a blanket and a Bible. He had been there for days before being discovered on Friday. Police say she went to visit her boyfriend in Maryland after leaving her son in the woods... I saw on the news that on the same day she left her son in the woods she Tweeted "I'm so happy" I can't imagine how hard it would be to have a child in that shape to take care of. But I don't think I'd leave them in the woods to die either.
