What does West Carter need to do to improve in 2015? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.

West showed improvement in 2014 but have some holes to fill from the loss of Mitchell, McGlone, and Austin. Last seasons 5-6 campaign was good but 4 wins came against opponents that were a combined 6-36. They trade Mason Co (L), Paintsville (L), and Greenup Co (L in OT) for Powell Co, Raceland, and Magoffin Co. That will probably yield a win as Powell may take a step back in 2015, but Raceland on the road to start the season and at Magoffin to finish the regular season will be tough.

 

Brown will be a Senior and one of the biggest offensive threats around. Look for him to have a banner season and be a 1,000 yard rusher. The tale of the season is who is #2 filling Mitchell's role as the Comets cannot rely on Brown to it all. Defensively the Comets gave up nearly 2,300 yards rushing last season. They cannot continue to do that and be successful.

 

I predict an improved 6-4 regular season, 3rd in the district, and a playoff date at Lawrence Co.

Brown has a little brother who will emerge this year to be the number two option IMO. Could be better than big brother by the time he's done
