It seems to me as if Corbin has improved much since they visited the patch earlier in the season.

Why did they not call the game after 6 innings?

They young players are starting to come around and play more sound, fundamental baseball. They still have some improving to do to be able to compete for the region, but if they get out of the district they have about as good a chance as anyone else.

Let's not get too excited about this win. I mean McCreary Central is 3-10 with 7 losses by 10 or more runs. They are pretty bad. Nevertheless, being able to hit the ball well and win any game makes you feel good.

You are right, but I don't think anyone is getting too excited over beating McCreary Co. this year. But on the other hand, it is good to see Corbin getting closer to playing their style of baseball, if their last four games are any indication(4-1 win over Bell, two 6-4 wins over Whitley & the 15-0 win over McCreary). If they continue to improve as much as they already have from the beginning of the year, then they will be a hard out come tournament time.
