Hagen Tyler

Tyler is definitely the best player to come through Boyle. Has to be in the conversation ever for best player in 12th Region history. And, after making those 2 free throws to win against Lincoln County, probably need to look at him as the one of the most clutch players ever in the state. I could go on and on about how great this kid is.
There have been some pretty good players come through the 12th region over the years.

Reggie Hanson-Pulaski County 1986 (state champions), Univ. of KY, All-SEC 1990 and 1991, Boston Celtics 1998

Mark Fothergill-Somerset 1979, high school All-American, Univ. of Maryland, 1984 drafted by the Phoenix Suns.

These are two 12th region standout that come to mind from my area that would be considered in the talks of best players in 12th region history. Tyler is one of, if not, the best player in Boyle County history. 12th regions best may be a stretch. But, he still has the opportunity to write his legacy (2015 state champions would be a nice addition). And yes, those free throws were clutch! I'm really looking forward to watching him in Rupp next week.

Hagen is the best to play at Boyle County, but to say the best ever in the 12th region is going too far. There has been a lot of great players to come through the 12th region that I would rank over Hagen
