This is from her website:Welcome to Kelsie May's Official Website She was born Kelsie Aleese Faith May, the fourth of five children to Roy and Elva May. As they settled to raise their family in Louisa, Kentucky they had no idea the gifts that lay inside their little girl. As a young child Kelsie was quite shy, so performing for others didn't come easy. She sang at home and occasionally at church but rarely felt comfortable singing elsewhere. Still, Kelsie's love for singing grew stronger everyday. Eventually, she discovered a secret weapon that would help her overcome her fear…her beloved Disney princess dress. Kelsie's mom worked as the manager for a local apartment complex and it was there that Kelsie would find her first captive audience. Donning her princess dress Kelsie sang for the residents and before their eyes an entertainer was born.
