scoring question

Featured Replies

I have a scoring question. Runners on second and third, one out. Fly ball to center field for out number two. Runner on third tags and advances to home. Runner on second returns to second to tag. Throw from center is cut in the infield and thrown to third where runner from second is tagged for the third out. Does the run score?

Yes, just as long as the runner crosses the plate before the 3rd out is made.

Yes, if the run scored before the 3rd out was completed. Umpire will usually acknowledge that the run did or did not score.

Any other thoughts?

Yes, just as long as the runner crosses the plate before the 3rd out is made.

This is correct!!
