Anyone been to the new Point Blank Gun Range/Store On Mall Road in Florence?

Thoughts?

 

They are open, but say their "Grand Opening" won't be for another few weeks. They say they have about half their inventory of ammo in. I was expecting it to be more on the level of Bud's in Lexington, but it isn't as big and doesn't carry as much in the way of accessories as Bud's does.

Not nearly as big as Bud's, but Bud's is the largest online seller of firearms.

 

I was at Point Blank this past Saturday. My surgeon told me that I could start shooting the 9mm, ended up shooting about 160 rounds (did pretty good considering).

 

But they were very busy, you could only get 30 minutes. Range is very nice. The only reason I went there is my usual place, Shooters, is like a freezer during the cold.

I've been in to look around. I prefer Mark's Guns cause he was first and is local.

Is this a chain type gun range, not a local development? Just curious because I recently read an article about a large range that will be locating in the west end of Huntington, Wv but i didnt catch the name. Supposedly it will be a $3 million dollar development, which seems very expensive for a gun range IMO.
