Lawrence Co. 6 Pikeville 3

Featured Replies

Cyrus pitched for the Bulldogs. Staggs started and took the loss for the Panthers. Ward did a nice job in relief of Staggs, going 3 2/3 innings and allowing no runs. I think Cyrus held the Panthers to only 3 hits. Michaels pitched the 7th to close it out for LC.

Very good win for Lawrence County...hopefully the Panthers will get back on the winning side next time out.

Pikeville just came off of winning the Panther Classic and threw their number 6 or 7 against LC. LC is a good program with a great coach. Just dont make much of this game. Pikeville was FLAT. Good job Bulldogs.

There is not many times I root against P-Ville this is one of those so a big Congrats to L.C. on the win.

What is the B-Dogs record now?

After the Magoffin Co. win it stands at 8 -6.

correction the dawgs are 9-7....

If pikeville was very FLAT than how come they only had 3 hits??? Maybe LC have turned things around and are becoming a better team...:irked:

I am getting the record from KHSAA website, which should be the official record even though they may be 9 - 7 but may not have counted them as official games yet. Alot could depend on if they have alot of rain out games.
