Collins put up a great fight in this one coming in as the big underdog. They actually led nearly the entire game up until the end of the 3rd quarter when things kind of fell apart for them. They had a great season going 18-12 with a young team. Quite a few 7th and 8th graders put in big minutes tonight. The future is bright for them.

Anderson County 58, Collins 44: Kaci Currens poured in 25 points, and the Bearcats (17-11) beat the Titans (18-12). Whitney Pullen’s 18 points led Collins.

How could Collins be a "big underdog" when they came into the game with a record of 18-11, while Anderson Co. came into the game at 16-11? Just wondered.

Collins has never beat Anderson so they have that on their back. It's also difficult to compare records without looking at the competition.
