A British man whose friends allegedly set him on fire after he passed out drunk has gone public with the horrific injuries he suffered — including amputation of part of a leg.

"I don't think what happened has hit me yet, to be honest," Craig Finn, 25, told The Mirror a year after the alleged attack. "I just have to get on with my life."

Finn, from the town of Seaham in northeast England, said that last February he fell asleep on the bathroom floor of his home after an all-day drinking session with some friends.

Then, for reasons still unknown — Finn doesn't even remember the incident — his friends allegedly torched him.

He came out of a coma a month later, his body ravaged with third-degree burns. His family said he almost died twice when his lungs filled with fluid. Half of his left leg was eventually amputated.

"I'm still young and I can't let it get the better of me," Finn said. "This has changed my life forever."

Two of his friends have been charged with arson and causing bodily harm with intent, and are due in court in April.

....and we only shaved the eyebrows and legs of our drunk and past out friends. :lol2:

Dont forget about drawing on them with Sharpie.

Those were the extent of what we did. Heck we didn't even move people to rooftops of Vegas hotels.

Na, the shear embarrassment of having one eyebrow or one leg shaved was more than enough......especially when your on the beach at Daytona for Spring Break.

These type of articles disturb me because for a short period of my teen years I found myself hanging with an assortment of neighborhood undesirables. There were occasions of drunken stupors where to get attention some of these punks would use me at times for the butt of their pranks, and encourage laughter from all in attendance no matter how stupid or dangerous the prank. Thankfully I got through my teen years mostly unscathed.

I was once at a party on a hillside apartment where at the edge of the parking lot was a cliff that dropped about a million feet onto I-75.

I stood there nervously with a group, including one character who had been known to sucker punch people while drunk for no apparent reason. I had the presence of mind to get away from the cliff's edge, and then at first opportunity leave the party. The next day I was informed that this guy again sucker punched someone at the party for no apparent reason.

I can say this with complete certainty that this same guy would not hesitate to push me off of the cliff just for the fun of it.

I recently discovered that he had passed away, but no information was given on the cause. Knowing his drug issues, I kinda have an idea.
